Our Purpose
Having come to a close on the 31st March 2010, the purpose of the IMHREC consortium was to develop, deliver and evaluate a mental health recovery education programme, using the Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) approach during the course of 2009. The learning programme was designed to enable its participants to consider and adopt the WRAP recovery principles into their own lives and/or practice in order to achieve their own goals within a philosophy of recovery. The programme commenced with 1 day conferences and was followed with the facilitated learning programmes across three regional hubs in 2009 and was followed by a “Recovery Café” in Feb. 2010. The final report on the independent evaluation of the project will be published later in 2010 and will be available here. more...
